Worlée: Innovation and Partnership - since 1851

Since its establishment as a trading company by Emil Heinrich Worlée in Hamburg/Gemany more than 150 years ago, Worlée, still family-owned by the 4th and 5th generations, has grown into a modern, very stable industrial and trading enterprise operating globally. In the paint, lacquers and inks industries worldwide, Worlée-Chemie is known and appreciated as a reliable producer of a broad range of special binders and additives and as a trader of pigments and other special raw materials. It is the close cooperation with our customers in developing new products often tailor-made, it is the extensive technical service we provide plus the great expertise and the enormous commitment of our employees in Germany and abroad, which altogether have enabled this success and which are a solid basis for the further growth of Worlée.

Partnership and responsibility - For Worlée, these values are very important not only with regard to our customers, but also towards society and the environment. So, Worleé has always been training young people in technical and commercial professions. Most of Worlée's employees stay with us for many years, often decades; this fact secures competence and continuity, it generates trust in Worlée by customers and principals. For the products we make, the raw materials we use and the procedures we apply we have been ensuring careful use of ressources and compatibility with the environment for many years already. In addition, a major part of our profit is continuously reinvested in steadily modernizing our plants, improving their safety and in training our employees. It is needless to mention that Worlée is certified according to ISO 9001:2000 and 14001.

In a time when mergers and separation of many enterprises are part of the daily news, we may be a bit proud that Worlée is purely family-owned still.
With optimism and well equipped for the future challenges we are going to face, we are continuing on our road. Come and join us!!

Yours

Reinhold von Eben-Worlée, General manager and main shareholder
