Our Novelties

At the European Coatings Show 2011 Worlée-Chemie GmbH will present a wide range of innovative products from our own production and from the production of our partners.

New high solid alkyd resins for decorative house paints and for corrosion protection, as well a self crosslinking thermoplastic acrylate for the same application field. The range of water based products will be completed by a medium oil alkyd emulsion for cobalt- and oxime free lacquers. The product range will be rounded off by two NMP free adhesion promoters.

Worlée Traded Products Division is presenting on this show WeiKem as a new partner for the distribution of cellulose derivates from Chinese production. We show a special additive out of the WorléeAdd 800-range which are bentonite based rheology additives. Due to the closer cooperation with Synthomer GmbH now the liquid polybutadiens and the poly vinyl acetate specialities will be distributed by theWorlée trading departmentin Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

This year Worlée-Chemie GmbH will show exhibits with starting point formulations at the fair, an international team of consultants will be present to answer your questions.

From the plants in Lauenburg and Lübeck:

WorléeCryl VP A 2209, 75% is a low viscous acrylic resin for high solid, fast drying primers and fillers with very good adhesion properties on different substrates. The fast and widespread recoatability should be especially pointed out.

WorléeDur VP D 4001, 75% is a high solid epoxy ester based on dry conjugated fatty acids for the formulation of low VOC corrosion protection coatings.

WorléeKyd VP AC 6030, 85% is an air drying, low viscous, acrylated alkyd resin with good QUV- and yellowing resistance, mostly suitable for application in high quality low VOC, decorative and building lacquers.

WorléeKyd RS 2174, 100% is an extremely low viscous alkyd resin with very good crosslinking. Due to the broad compatibility it can be used in a wide range of systems.

WorléeThix VP C 6625, 60% is a low viscous thixotropic OH-functional polyester resin for the production of two component systems and baking enamels.

WorléeCryl L 2822, 70 and 75% is a self crosslinking acrylate for the modification of alkyd resin lacquers. In these systems it improves surface- and through- drying and weather resistance.

WorléeSol VP NW 521 is a medium oil alkyd emulsion for the production of air drying, cobalt- and oxime free paint systems. It is suitable for fast drying decorative, building and d.i.y.-lacquers. Top coats with high gloss, excellent hardness and very good water resistance can be formulated.

WorléeAdd VP 484 and WorléeAdd 487 are n-methyl pyrrolidon free polyester resins for the improvement of solvent based two component PU and baking lacquers. They improve as well the elasticity. WorléeAdd 484 complies to § 175.300.

Worlée Traded Products Division:

Worlée distributes the products of WeiKem Chemical Co., Ltd from China in Germany, the Netherlands, Austria and the Czech Republic. These are hydroxy ethylic cellulose (HEC),methyl cellulose (MC), carboxy methyl cellulose (CMC) and more cellulose derivates. These products are used in the paint-, lacquer-, building-, synthetic- and cosmetic industry.

The rheology additives of the WorléeAdd 800 range is completed by the beige type WorléeADD 850, a slightly coloured quality, very interesting with regard to price and mostly suitable for paint systems, in which a bright colour is not necessary.

Worlée distributes Lithene liquid polybutadienes and polyvinylacetate-specialities of Synthomer

Lithenes are liquid polybutadienes, available either as non functional grades or functional maleinised grades. The Synthomer M-grades are 100% solids or solutions of Polyvinylacetate homo- and copolymers. These products are usedin paints and lacquers, adhesives and sealants, in the construction chemistry, and diverse specialities (among others as potting compounds, as gels or as additives in polyester resins).

New pigment pastes by Worlée

Worlée now offers from German production, as well as pigment pastes based on transparent iron oixides, WorléeTransoxid, and carbon black, WorléePaste Black diverse new pastes based on organic and inorganic pigments. The solvent based preparations of the range WorléePaste S are based on high quality polymeric resins, cross linkers and pigments and serve to securethe respective colouring shade of solvent basedone component- and two component lacquers. Due to the good rheologic properties they offer a simple, uncomplicated incorporation.
